    is training at home good and if you train at home how would go about fighting in tourments

    you need to be working on the fundimentals with a trainer, NOTHING is more important than the basics,
    when you are comfortable with these than it is time to start sparring.

    and sparring partners, bags and equipment. although that might (... ) prove abit costly/to much hassle.

    Well, speak to the guys at the gym first off. Sometimes they can only come on weekends and just bring mitts etc which you may already have

    For tuition its good that they come to you

    For everything else, theres mastercard

    wtf you talking about man

    training at home is a horrible way, and i mean HORRIBLE way of learning.
    your never gonna get the right technique and your never gonna learn.
    IT WONT HAPPEN. my little brother is trying it since he was banned from my gym for KOing somone with a kick in a sparring session (we used to do thai boxing, comes as a reaction) and hes getting worse, not better

    yeah some of the lads at my gym could spar with me but the only room big enough for us to spar in in my house is full of 'precious' things... its also the only room with a ceiling big enough for me to skip...
