I found this a little odd being only 2 days before the fight. You'd think he'd be on a Top Rank card coming up. He's one of my favorite prospects, I hope he's been training.

"Vicious" Victor Ortiz is a bad ass little fighter. I was impressed when he KO'd Emmanuel Clottey with seconds remaining and DESTROYED Carlos Maussa in the very first round!

He's a good kid too, raising his little brother and all.

Danny jacobs is also on that card.. and allegedly to be shown on hbo..

Hopefully they can show both and danny wont be shunned for ortiz..

Hbo are coming on well with the prospect thing.. Danny jacobs is 5-0 this is his 6th fight.. and what with the prospects card, angulo, gamboa etc

I shall look forward to seeing him. I've read he's a real good kid etc....outside the ring. Never seen him in it. All i know is he mowed my hero Carlos Maussa down in 1 and that Amir Khan stopped him in the ams.

Can't wait to see him in action.

Is this his first fight since Maussa? If so its about time he fought again.

He's a good prospect, needs to stay busy as he can.
