That's Hatton after a night out in Manchester not after his last fight plus Oscar is better looking so people notice the bruises.
In all fairness Hatton fought a man in his own weight class with a decent punch on him. Also it is common knowledge that Hatton swells easily.
actually Lazcano is more of a natural lightweight than he is a Jr. Welterweight, and after saturday his record is now 0-3-1 in his last four, at least Forbes had a big speed advantage, and has been having a couple impressive performances (D. Hopkins & Bojado)
Haven't rewatched it but saw the highlights on my local news because Luzcano is from Sacramento. He got caught with a check hook and wobbled right by the ring post. If he had even touched that ring post there are people on here who would have literally shit themselves. Couldn't believe it watching it the second time, hilarious.
Did Oscar really get pummelled by the critics for getting marked up a bit? I don't remember that but oh well.
I think if anything a few people said that from looking at his face he obviously got hit more than HBO would make it out to be since they as usual cheerleaded but I'm not sure Oscar himself really got blasted for it. Maybe he did, maybe I just wasn't here.
If anything I guess people just expect Hatton to get marked up more than ODLH Look back at those pictures after the Tsyzu fight, was nasty.
Hattons style and aggression means he is always gonna be prone to getting hit, take the maussa fight for instance - won every round and knocked his guy out in 9 yet still came out looking like he had just taken the beating of his life with 2 individual cuts either side of his eyes.
oscar only has to look at someone the wrong way to get criticised.
As i said last week the way ODLH has been treated by certain sections of the media pre-forbes and in anticipation of ODLH-Floyd II has been way out of line.
It's all relative, isn't? We are all judged by our individually efforts.
Just throwing that out there, friends. I'm not saying it's my code of honor. Stupid Pavlik.
Being a admitted fight fan n00b, I actually have never seen hatton and the PBF fight. And all the talk of hatton I've read, after this weekends fight, I decided to just now youtube it. The ring post thingy. haha. Meh.
Am sure yas all seen it a hundred times, but still... LOL.
