Default Can anyone help me out with some healthy suggestions.

I was just wondering, I'm doing quite a bit of exercise to keep me in good shape for my Tennis so I was wondering can I have a few healthy suggestions of what can give me energy i.e. what to eat before I play that should give me maximum performance ??. Thanks.

A typical snack I have before I work out would be an orange or an apple and some cheese and a granola bar. Works for me but you may be different. I just try to keep it light so I'm not sluggish or have an upset stomach when I'm at the gym.

Look in the sports nutrition bible in the trainer section.

There's plenty of information in there

Look at the Glycemic Index table and try to choose low GI value carbohydrates.

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich usually gives me energy, but I'm not sure if that's what I should eat or not.
