He was a generous 3/1 for this comp
    Im exactly the same

Will have a punt at the start of a major and watch the final round but thats about it.

Only ever big win ive truly had was immelman to win the masters which i stuck £2 on (last of the big spenders i know) at 125/1.

"Get in the hole" is the most annoying fan call in all sports, surely.

Tiger's birdie at the 18th was truely awesome

To be honest i went all in on 4-5 different golfers. Think i had £2 each on mahan, immelman, stenson and someone else.

£250 sovs for a £2 bet is by an absoloute mile my best return ever.

Ive never had a 100/1 winner on a single pick (plenty of big price mulitilpes).. Quite a few 50/1 horses, 33/1 dart and snooker players though

I was lucky to have one 100/1 shot once.

I said Lee would KO some guy before 7 and Dunne Ko'ed in the same night.

I like the 18 hole playoff format, and it is always to Tigers advantage to do this in a Headsups playoff. Although today I am not sure. Being that Tiger is hurt and Mediate appears to be in the zone, I really think it is a toss up here...and maybe even favoring Mediate. But Tiger is the man. Going to be fun to watch.

As much as people are saying this is over, Rocco played better than him yesterday and has been extremely consistent. I wouldn't totally count him out.

Game on. Tiger off to 1 stroke lead. Mediate almost holes the 3rd par 3 as Tiger gets plugged in a bunker. Bogie Tiger, Birdie Mediate.

Mediate now a 1 stroke lead.

    What...a...match.

After 18 holes, Mediate is in the lead by 1. Tiger makes a birdie to go sudden death.

Final outcome, Tiger Woods wins the US Open and wins his 14th Major.

Great play by Rocco Mediate in a see saw back and forth battle that saw him fall just a little short of the greatest player now, and most likely ever in the game of golf.

Signing out from Torrey Pines and the U.S. Open Gold Championship, I am youngblood, and now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Bit unlucky for Rocco that they started the sudden death on a hole that really wasn't suited for him. If they had started on a par 3 who knows

That was exciting, gave me something to do during the afternoon on my day off.

At least Rocco didn't fold up, Tiger won cause he was just better.

I started off rooting for Tiger, but after the 15th or 16th I really wanted Rocco to win. To do it at 45 yrs old and under those circumstances, would have been special. But yea, Tiger was just better.
