Default If it comes off, who would win Nate Campbell-Joan Guzman

I've got nothing against Nate Campbell (I've never been a huge fan but always kind of liked him) but he beat one of my favorite fighters last time out and I'd kind of start to get pissed if he beat one of my other favorite fighters in Guzman.

This looks very likely apparently, I don't think its totally official but its definitely not a wild speculation, so who wins if it comes off.

Tough first fight for Guzman at a new weight but I've got faith in him.

    Good question...tuff answer.

Guzman for me...because I'm that big of a fan.

While Campbell's win over Diaz was impressive & heart breaking for ole' Wacko...I honestly can't get sold on Campbell.

While he's sound, accomplished, slick, powerful, accumulative, speedy, accurate, & everything that I love about my boxers...he's just a bit to mouthy for me...& I'm a Floyd fan...so that's saying something.

I'd love to see the Guz lay a whoopin on him...whether he will or not...totally different story right there.

    Good one Ooohmer!

I think Diaz's come forward type style plays to Campbell's strengths more than Guzman's does. At least I hope so, I just wish Guzman was more active.

Depends on what Nate shows up.

Nate said he'd put Guzman on his back... That won't happen.

If the nate that beat Juan Diaz shows up he will outwork Guzman to a dec.

It will not be a KO.

    I'm with Nate by dec.

I think Guzman is more fresher and is the better boxer of the two, i think Campbell is just a tad overrated after his win over Diaz. I just think that was very good style match up for Campbell, not saying it wasn't impressive but you get my point. I can't really go with Campbell like i have said he has been to inconsistent in the past and the way he held his hands down against Peden and got flattened do you blame me ?? plus the question is can he produce another performance like that at his age ??

Guzman is really fast with his legs. He'll just pop-n-run Nate and win by UD.

    I have to take Guzman.

Very interesting fight but like you said, Guzman and Diaz are pretty much complete opposites. Casamayor counterpunched his way to a win over Campbell and I think Guzman would essentially do the same thing.

I'd back Guzman.. although I would against anyone within reason, so that probably don't mean much.

Problem for Guzman is.. he's so inactive, considering he's in his 30s, sooner rather than later he'll get beat by someone he should have beat. It always happens with Guzman types.

Guzman's "running" is so over exaggerated, he does at times late in fights if he's got it in the bag but not for the most part. He doesn't have to "run" to beat Nate, moving a bit and running are different things all together.
