    Default Question About Edwin Valero.

Do you think this guy can improve skill wise like Pacquiao ?? because remember Pacquiao early in his career was a bit like Valero just coming forward throwing punches from all angles. And El Gamo has told me that in sparring Valero has showed some good skills but what do you guys think ??

He probably Can, wether he will or not is the question. The opponents he's faced so far hasn't required anything special which may mean he could be caught out like morales did Pac in their first fight.

WOULd really like to see Pac - Valero, I'd pick Pac but Edwin def has the power to buzz him in return, could be spectacular.

Who is Valero's coach? Pacquiao had Roach which was a HUGE part of Pac's transformation. NO WAY Pac becomes who he is without Roach.

It's hard to convince a fighter to change his ways when he's doing so well with it. I think it would take a loss to make Valero reevaluate his style.

And yes PAC - Valero would be a great fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Roach gets to much credit for PAC... PAC is an extremely gifted athlete. Roach is overrated. As much as I think he did help Manny to a certain extent, he could have had simmilar progress with other trainers.

I agree...valero has no reason to change anything yet, similar to gamboa. I'm pretty sure they hear all the flak but they probably look at it as shit i'm winning and people are paying attention so why change. Besides people love fighting way more than they like boxing, so for right now they see themselves as doing fine. And who knows, we'll just have to see...

Valero can still improve provided he fights tough opposition from now on. He can start fighting Guzman and JMM.

Valero is 27 already so if he is gonna improve it'll need to be quickly.

I think a lot of Pacs improvement came about as he got older and stronger. He started very light and very young, but seems to get stronger every time he goes up on weight. Witnessed it again in the Diaz fight.

Valero in the gym looks like an Erik Morales type fighter, plenty of skill and speed to go with the power.

Unlike Erik, Valero seizes on fight night, looking for power and only power, robbing himself of his speed, ease of movement and skill.

The problem may be aleviated with expiereince, but he may well have won a world title too soon and arrived at the wrold stage a little to early.

YOu heard right. Valero had fine skills and he was a marksman. Some fighters are very skilled yet they choose to fight because that's who they are by nature..

They only box when they have to..

A fight between him and Pacquiao would have been one for the ages..

Valero was a cowardly piece of shit who's burning in hell, he picked up trinkets against old fighters, B level opposition, and nobodies, he never stepped it up, and was "man" enough to murder his wife but didn't have the cojones to deal with the punishment that would come along with it, Manny Pacquiao would have blitzed the trotting piece of shit, would have ripped the flag off his chest and would slapped him silly with it, Valero was a punk, end of
