Default How did he go so badly off track?

    Jason Quick

Above is a link to the box rec record of Jason Quick.
This light heavy was deemed to be quite the prospect he was naturally athletic, possessed of good power and had a great physique (as a result of gym work.)

Where do you feel he or his team went wrong?
Was he rushed in his career?
    Did he lose focus?
    Was he over hyped?
Was he unable to cope with defeat?

    Thoughts from a trainers perspective.

    Hmm

Seems to me that he wasn't really that good to begin with. His wins came over 4 guys who only had 4 wins between them.

His losses came against more experienced guys...barring the 2nd one.

Probably a mixture of bad match-making, and him not being that good.

    Unless i'm missing something.....

    which wouldn't surprise me

    A distinct possibility.

The one thing UI must stress though is that he was meant to be groomed, they were trying to cash in on his physique and looks and make money, did they miscalculate or was it a freak accident?

Bad matchmaking then. Sounds like they mis calculated....4 times, which is pretty shitty.

Maybe stuff went off in his personal life...which led to him not being able to perform in the ring. Did you ever see him fight?

Yeah I saw a vidoe of him, he was on many of the same cards as a friend of mine.

Dibella signed him for his debut.

    Very strange.

Suppose it happens sometimes. I'm sure there has been plenty of potentially great fighters who haven't quite made it for one reason or another.

    Strange indeed.

For his debut he was on the fight poster nearly as big as the headliner!

I guess he would have been a promoter's wet dream

I'm guessing he got a shock, the first loss was very unexpected.
He never regained his confidence or drive.

Pity, he'll be hard market if he continues.
