Default Next for Andre Berto is..

Unfortunately in my opinion steve Forbes..

Im not so sure about the match..

hes tough durable.. he wont be stopped by berto if you ask me..

And i dont think he can look good against Stevie Forbes..

Could be a nasty fight to be honest..

if i had to predict stevie can out slick him but his work rate will win him a close indecisive decision..

All i hope is that following this the wbc gets theyr act together and gives lou collazo his mandatory challenge.

I was impressed how Steve Forbes was able to withstand Oscar De La Hoya's bombs for 12 rounds and even win some rounds......

Not the fight i was hoping for Andre Berto i was hoping he would wait for Zab Judah vs Joshua Clottey winner.........

But this still should be a good test for Andre Berto Steve Forbes is very durable and has some good skills and could give Andre Berto a good hard 12 round bout which Andre Berto needs........

But if Andre Berto can stop Steve Forbes i will be impressed.

Stevie's never been stopped has he? I forget. I actually think this is a nice way to get a better gauge on Berto. I, too, would have rather seen him face tonights winner, but this is a good fight IMO. Not sure who I'd pick.

Dont forget Oscar dosent have the handspeed nor Stamina to apply the necessary pressure against a guy like Forbes unlike Berto who goes to the body, head, uppercuts fills in the gaps really well with his punches... I think this is a different type of fight for Berto, we know he is tough and durable now we need to see how he can deal with a stick and mover like Forbes with a slick defense
