Fitch's face is mush. That wasn't his mouth piece flying there...I think it was part of his brain flying out his ear.

Fitch just needs some good old fashioned boxing skills right now.

Unless Fitch can pull out a miracle KO, this is all GSP. But what a fight! Props to both em them.

Gotta give respect to Fitch. He took some serious punishment, but keep coming for more, and showed a lot of class. GSP did what was expected of him. The dude is seriously skilled in so many ways.

    Great fight.

The card itself was good. The first fight with McDonnell & Mia was the best of the night...

Phelps just beat the shit out of the WR for his 1st gold medal.

I watched this kind of halfway as the Giants and Dodgers were also playing and I didn't really like this card.

But I did see the main event in it's entirety. St. Pierre has been on a different planet for some time now. I wouldn't take any welterweight over him right now, no one is even close. Floorian is OK, he's a smart fighter and uses space well but really he has no shot versus Penn. I doubt he could do much better versus Sherk either unless he opened him up again but I really have no interest in ever seeing Sherk again.

To be honest the division is much more interesting if Penn and Sherk move out and guys like Florian, Huerta, Griffin, Edgar, Alves and that bunch vie for the title.

I'm sick of the UFC though really. They need to have more shows. Free or not, give us more shows. And make entire shows dedicated to one division, not a single night tournament but there is no reason they can't have the night of the lightweights. It's just grown stale and while it may not have been surpassed yet, I hope Affliction proves to be worthy competition. It was a very good card they put on, some kinks to iron out in production but it certainly seems like it could one day challenge the UFC, it did over 100K buys and they turned a profit which is a victory in itself really.

Im happy with the results both my bwoyz won, brock and GSP.

Anybody heard about Randy Couture next two fights? I hear his going to fight Kurt Angel first then Fedor.

Is Kurt crazy? its his first MMA fight and he fights a legend?

gotta love the opening of the first round. Brock throws a flying knee, then catches krazy horse with a straight right that sends heath flying backwards
