A few years ago I read a story about a new type of train they're testing out in Germany. The tracks are changed; it's some kind of supermagnetic track and the thing is supposed to top out at over 200 mph.

Yeah, it's a magnetic monorail... It uses counter magnetism to have it actually hover above the track... Kind of like when you reverse the poles to magnets and you can't put them together... Same idea. There'd be no track friction or anymore derailing due to faulty tracks...
