ESPN Classic Sports Channel

This is merely speculation I know but I was reading in Frank warrens newspaper column that they are launching a classic sports station on UK Tv. This is great news as I know that ESPN classics shows a hell of a lot of boxing

Although their program scheduling and showing of old fights has improved during the last few months, ESPN Classic use to show nothing but Muhammad Ali fights over and over and over. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch Ali, but considering that ESPN has the largest fight library in the world, they need to start showing nothing but different fights...it's not like they will run out of fights to show.

the us espn classic did a 3 day nothing but ali marathon over the 4th of july weekend.
not just fights but fights with ali commentary, fights with someone elses post fight commentary, and documentaries including thousands of "CUT THE GLOVES OPEN, I WANNA SHOW THE WORLD THERES DIRTY WORK AFOOT" moments.

i once watched the tyson buster douglas fight and was begining to think they got the message....
then sports center came on and i realized it was espn2

Sad thing is, they have the 3-day Ali special on at least once every three, or four months...and I really don't think that I am exaggerrating.

yes but i heard that espn classice for canada shows a lot more recent fights. the people i have spoke with talk about getting fights like barrera-morales and quartey-vargas, trinidad-vargas, etc.

A few months ago i remember one night them playing a liston fight(not one against ali either) then ali against someone, several foreman fights and joe frazier vs. ron stander.....all heavyweights...

Me getting cool clicks doesnt help my ego at all, but I do like to have a good ratio, so people will actually think I know what I am talking about if they are new.

Damn, I wish I could get this channel. Unfortunately, in my area of New York, you have to subscribe to digital cable. NO WAY!!! If I did that, I wouldn't be able to get my PPV fights! So it's kind of a no brainer.
