Default Quickly, For People Who Have Ever Made Ground Beef

Now this might be a bit El Gamo for you all, but I have no idea how to cook. I'm semi living on my own, my mom bought me a bunch of meat from a butcher I guess under the assumption that I know how to cook. I have a bunch of ground beef, I want to make some of it. Problem: I don't know how. I've tried looking on the internet, but it seems that everyone thinks that you go into the recipe at least knowing how to cook the ground beef without actually giving you instructions for that part. I'm in a bit of a bind here, so please, someone tell me how to cook the ground beef until it's brown. I have sloppy joe mix, I want sloppy joes but I need to know how to at least do the most basic of thing cooking. What setting do I put the pan on is basically what I'm asking.

OK, I guess I should have googled how to "brown ground beef" before this because that was my answer.

I Switched up from Ground beef to Ground Turkey a while back. After a while,It was all the same. The thing with Beef is how much you drain out the grease.Used to just mix light cheesed Macaroni,Ground beef, chopped onions & diced Creole Tomato's. Good stuff!

I feel really really stupid for asking that. Was one of the easiest things I've ever made, really.

Nothing to feel stupid about - I'm not very good in the kitchen, either. I do make a mean bowl of cereal, though
