I think people score the fight at the end rather than after each round.

It would be easy to get carried away with the last 3 rounds and say Hopkins won those convincingly whereas Taylor's winning rounds were all close. But if you actually score the fight round-by-round as it should be, then Taylor wins. How the fuck did i judge have it by 4 rounds for Hopkins

Don't have time read all the posts, but I think Hopkins started off too late. He always does that trying to find out his opponent's weak spots and then uses the last half of the fight to mount an offense. Except, this wasn't Eastman (who kept getting clobbered with the uppercut), Joppy (who was only trying not to lose some gambling money) or Trinidad (who is never prepared against a counter-defense). He started off big and Hopkins was just to inactive the first half of the fight to grant him enough rounds. The punch counts tell a story, but only in the last 5 rounds do they have any relevance. By the time everybody started chanting Hopkins, it was too late. Just my opinion.

I had Hopkins winning by 4 rounds as well and I judged every single round! Round 3, possibly 4, definately 5, 8, and 9-11 all went to Hopkins. The only Way Jermain could have won is if you are ignorant and vindictave against Hopkins enough to give him 7 outta the first 8 rounds!!! Which is absurd. I could see Taylor being up 5 rounds to three after 8 maybe, but not 7 to 1!!! I had it split 4 a piece after 8, then Bernard took over. But he still got robbed big time. It was a disgrace, that decision! Taylor in no way should have won on the cards, no way in hell he did enuff to take B-hop's titles. >
