    Default Charles "The Hatchet" Brewer

I only had the privelage of seeing Brewer fight twice, but he impressed me. He looked to be quite a warrior and had some serious power. His fight with Antwun Echols was great. He knocked Echols down 2 or 3 times then got stopped on an early stoppage. I also heard he went 12 tough rounds with Calzaghe, and he was gettin older then too. Does anyone know how good he was in his prime?
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Brewer was an IBF champion. He lost the belt in a split decision to Sven Ottke in Germany, which may ha been a win in any other country! He beat Herol Graham and went the distance with Calzaghe, also beat Pemberton. I would say in his prime he was a deserving champ, and he always turned up to fight.
