    Default Campbell vs. Guzman?

Good fight. If I were Nate, I dont know if I would have taken this fight as my first defense. But that just goes to show how much of a warrior Nate is, you got to respect that fact that he is not ducking strong competition and always gives the fight fans good fights.

Guzman is a great boxer, but I dont think he'll be strong enough to hold nate off of his ass! I see campbell going in behind his jab, pushing the more fast, elusive Diaz to the ropes and beating the body. Granted, I do see Guzman being able to win some of those rounds, it'll be a close fight but I dont think that Guzman has enough fire power to hold back Nate. Nate is still hungrier, hungrier than ever now!

    thoughts?

I can't really get a handle on how this fight will play out - but i'm pretty sure Guzman will outclass Campbell.. without thrashing him.

I think Guzman will win and then not get enough credit for it after the fact (especially from Pac fans). I'm a negative person.

I don't think he will be as strong but he'll be plenty slick. I have to give Campbell credit he is as smart as they come in the ring. I'm taking Guzman by decision though.

Call me crazy, but I like Nate in this fight. Guzman's domination of Soto is still in everyones head, but let's not forget the Nate beat Diaz, who thoroughly beat Kats, and Kats pushed Casamayor for all he was worth. He was ahead on two scorecards when he got KO'd.

Guzman's best wins have been over Soto and Barrios, and Barrios just lost to Rocky Juarez. I like Guzman and think he's a very skilled fighter, but Nate is no pushover and overall has fought the better competition on the bigger stages. Guzmam looked like Floyd Mayweather against Soto, but he's in against a guy on much higher level in Nate Campbell.

Nate has been inconsistent throughout his career, and he could totally put up a stinker, but if Nate shows up with his A game, Guzman is going to be in for a surprise.

not really seen much of campbell, just a few fights including the last one in which he boxed brilliantly against diaz. i think itll be close but am giving guzman the edge, his slickness should win it for him.

Thats not absurd at all. I see this as a 50-50 fight . Nate is an under rated boxer no doubt. He has got it all IMO

Im leaning towards Guz though cuz Ive always thought he was p4p material . Im wondering whther Nate used up everything he has left in the tank to beat Diaz . This will be Guzmans toughets fight yet but he will get the nod in a close fight

i go for oldy Campbell here. He is a natural 135 and been there against badass of the division. Guzman looks great at 122 but above he look just like an ordinary boxer. Don't get me wrong here, i know he is a gifted boxer at 122 but when he is at 130, he cannot do what he does at 122, how much more at 135. I think Guzman is overrated a bit. He only have 2 significant bouts above 122 and he didn't dominate them. Against Soto he didnt dominate just run and against Barrios who is having a hard time making the weight and already lost before the fight. Both Soto and Barrios are only gatekeepers at 130. I maybe wrong but thats how i see it.
