Tom Brady's out for the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like Brady, he's from San Mateo and even though he went to Michigan he gets a pass for that. Plus, he beat the Raiders in a time where every Raider fan on the planet was yelling to me about how great they were so for that I've been eternally grateful. But dynasties in team sports are for the most part very boring and Boston has got such a big head now that I wouldn't mind seeing a few Red Sox go down with ACL injuries too.
I liked the Bills before the year, today they did a favor to the NFC West and destroyed the Seahawks. I think they will finish right up there with the Brady-less Patriots and get into the playoffs ahead of Brett Favre. The people at ESPN will then cry, Trent Edwards?
Title: There is a God!!!
No there isn't the 9ERS lost.
Where's Danny?
Can't believe the Charges lost.
What a game it was exciting from begining to end.
The Jets were very lucky today...
I think the calls were bad. 3rd & some yards and running 2nd & some yards running. I think they needed more passing Favre had 22 att. that's pretty low considering Favres best play is the pass.
Well not that I like to see any player get injured but, with Brady being out it give my Bills a helluva allot better a shot at getting into the playoffs.
Man I couldn't believe the hurtin the Bills put on the Seahawks, I hope that trend continues this weekend when they play the Jags, I'll actually be at that game should be a good one.
Allot of upsets yesterday. Its still only the first week though, anything can still happen.
Even with the Patriots I can't get too excited about an injury. It makes it so much better when Brady gets overcome with emotion after they've lost. Now when they lose it will just be "oh Brady's out we didn't cheat properly blah blah" and like I said I prefer there to be Brady tears after a crushing loss.
I wouldn't even wish a season ending injury on Brett Favre.
My condolences to Silverback...
The Vikings just lost...
The 9ers will still win the west imo. They have the best defense in the West by far and the division is weak. The first game is always funny, the 9ers went 2-0 last year to start off before being smacked back down to reality. Yet I'm more encouraged with our 0-1 then I am our 2-0 last year which was the product of a really good defense and the offense nnot doing anything but simply not screwing up to bad. Our offense looked very good, Gore has returned to form and will have an absolutely massive year. O'Sullivan is the real deal, keeps his composure and has tremendous improvisation ability and really didn't make all that many mistakes, the interception was a last minute read that shouldn't have been thrown but that was kind of flukey as the defender had tripped and was just trying to catch up to his guy over the middle of the field. The other 4 turnovers were fumbles off a short kick to Takeo Spikes and that was the play that cost us the game.
Still, the defense looks great with Lawson back and Haralson and Justin Smith got to the quarterback a lot against one of the better lines in the conference. 9ers will be just fine this year imo.
My teams are the Seahawks (who are my main team, the others are my secondary teams), the Bengals (though I probably won't be a fan for much longer with the ownership they have), the Raiders, and the Browns (I know, it's sacrilidge to cheer for the Bengals and the Browns).
I'm in for a long year, unless the Browns or the 'Hawks can surprise me.
