    Smile Carl Froch

Does any one on this forum, rate Carl the Cobra Froch, he seems to get very little press coverage, TV or papers, is it cos, he is not with one of the big promotors,Calzaghi, Hopkins --no one---- wants to fight him, Froch fights Pascal for a world title in December, does any one care,2 undefeated fighters in there prime, Calzaghi and Jones are both past there prime, and going know where now, but they still create loads more interest, we seem to prefare over the hill fighters in there last contest, before retiring, than boxers in there prime, Oscar- jones- calzaghi ex all would be in the masters in any other sport

I think Froch picks up the WBC strap against Pascal. He has talent but I think the problem is that he is 31 now and has been brought along quite slowly IMO. Once he has the title he needs to go chasing the marquee names such as Kessler (although its clear that Inkin ducked him to go and win WBO). Pavlik should be another on his radar.

I think that because he's constantly in condition year round, he will maximise his fighting age. I hope he gets at least one big name in 2009. Too often he gets criticised by morons saying 'who has he fought' - yet even they concede he has been ducked since he turned professional. I mean even back in the days of Dodson (3 times that didnt happen) there have been people ducking him. Magee ducked him originally and then evben this year after Inkin pulled out there was about 3 others turned it down, Ruben, Berrio, ikeke (sp?). Then we all seen wot dibella did with Taylor - he took an eliminator fight rather than a title fight !

I mean, if he's that slow with a bad defence - how come nobody wants the fight? exactly.

He was trying to imply that Joe was avoiding him but that really is not the case and he knows it.

I definitely rate Froch - he's a good fighter and he takes care of himself between fights. I think we'll see a lot more from the Cobra in 2009!

it would be great to see carl get a career defineing fight, but he seems to be out of the loop, Pascal has a good record, but the name is not historic, strange how a name creates more interest to the public and promotors, rather than a fight between 2 undefeated foes in there prime
