Watched Betty Blue again the weekend before last. That girl was pure sex when she was young. Looking at pictures doesn't do her justice. I was on a weekend trip to Paris with a girlfriend twenty years ago. We were in a restaurant that French celebs used to hang out in. There were (according to my girlfriend) a few well-known people in then Beatrice Dalle walked through the door with a great big black dude and the place fucking stopped still. She had quite an effect on me and my nether regions and I couldn't stop looking, netierh could anybody else in the place. Raddled as fuck now unfortunately.

Watched Sex Drive about a high school senior who drives cross-country with his best friends to hook up with a babe he met online. Very funny.

I watched two films. The first was Howls moving castle which is a Japanese animation film. I have to say that I found it to be very stupid and one of the worst Japanese animation films I have seen. The last hour falls apart dismally because it just seems to be a collection of random characters making little sense anymore. Ooh he's a bird, now he's a monster, now he is a boy with a Bob hair do. Just gibberish and I couldn't feel for any of the characters. It is very highly rated, but I do not know why.

The other film I watched was Rush which I really enjoyed. It was a time when F1 was fun and that was a very long time ago indeed. It follows Hunt and Lauda on the 1976 season which culminates in Lauda almost dying after a crash, but who comes back anyway only to lose at the pip for the title to hunt. It shows their rivalry and their characters and on the whole I really enjoyed it.

Watched Johnny English reborn, it has some very funny moments in it where he makes an absolute fool of himself.

Watched Mud. That was a throwback to simple quality film making-acting when cgi and over the top dramatic bs need not apply.

Ugh what a disastrous time with movies I've had lately

Barfly - written by Charles Bukowski was just one long boring, scummy, depressing mess. I cannot help but think that Buk must have loved it as he lived off of the grit and grime.

Prometheus - .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x1YuvUQFJ0 ...just watch this instead.

Ichi The Killer - at first I thought I was going to see some sick Japanese psycho shit like in 'Audition' or 'Oldboy' or some shit like that you know gruesome, violent, etc....but no it's not like that at all. It's basically your run of the mill Japanimation storyline with your typical Japanese manchild as the "hero"....fucking waste of time. An ax boot is NOT a realistic weapon! GOD DAMNIT JAPAN!!!!!
