I just zipped out a fun little microfiction story for something I want to do a broader story on sometime in the future. It's called "Friend" and Microhorror just accepted it for their 2008 contest. You can find it here (and I already found a typo).

Not bad at all! The ending caught me by surprise, until then I thought that this might be a good chapter one for a longer story.
Keep up the writing. Cheers.
It's a blurb compared to what I want to do with that story.

I do. I'm trying to finish my first novel, but for me at least, it's hard.

I have an interest in writing. I suppose the hardest part for me is finding enough interesting things to write about. What about you? What do you find so difficult about finishing your novel?
Sitting down to do it. I love writing and if I took the proper time to do it, I could probably be doing it for a living right now. I'm good, but I should be a lot better (and focused). Most times what happens is I have a big drive to write something and wail away on it for a good amount of time and then I become distracted or more interested in some new idea. The novel I'm writing I haven't touched in about a month and I keep thinking up (and forgetting) ideas I'd like to put in.

It's called "Born Dead". It's really difficult for me to explain what it's about, but I posted most of the chapters on my blog. Mind you, those aren't final chapters. Once it's done all the stuff you might have read could look a lot different.

I'm not sure if this link will work, but go here: Yahoo! 360° - Flaming Head Wound
