    Default History

When Kirkland takes the ring on the Hatton undercard,he'll be the first female trained boxer to fight on a major card.
Ive told people for years, watch out for womens boxing, theyre getting good, and now theyre starting to train as well.
Feur has become a co-trainer in my gym, and if I was young enough, Id love to be trained by Ann Wolfe.
    Wish the kid luck

Crazy to think it's 2008 and this is just happening now...

Good stuff TM for pointing this out...
I know how much you support female boxing and boxing in general.

It was bound to happen,Ive watched womens boxing evolve very closely, they are getting better then most of their male equivalents, once you get them past the point of being afraid to hit because good little girls dont, theyre frightening
I know for a fact if you asked any fighter here, who'd they rather spar, the 6'5" tattooed guy who often yells at them,or my wife, after theyve had a taste of it, they'll go me every time. I dont hit as hard as she does.
She split my damned nose wide open once
Put your machismo aside boys, with womens ammies taking off their only going to get better. Alot of the older women fighters are getting real serious about one last run for the belt because they can see whats coming as well.
Whats interesting is watching Feur since I made her a co-trainer,our styles are very different.
She's coaxing wich works,if you even hear my voice you know you screwed up,which works as well. Combined we're getting better results now.
Its fun around the gym,I screw around on the internet as much as I do, because I can hear the bags, and I know from the sound when I should bark at someone.
She's been an amazing asset though, because fighters feel instinctivly a little more loved if its the pair of us. If its just me barking over their shoulder, they feel unloved,if its just her, they feel coddled. Together its "Get your freaking head together and do what I say, because I love you"
