Beans and Cornbread by Louis Jordan. I bought the soundtrack to the Malcolm X movie in high school looking for a song by Sam Cooke and ran across this gem. I still listen to this song on occasion.

Ha-ha. Did he know what you were doing?

I think that little stunt cost me a second gold at the tourney, but screw it,I still got a Silver, and it cracked me up to do it. Lifes too short not to give yourself a giggle fit on occasion.
I was pissed at the time to have three clean hand strikes declared clashes,in hindsight I earned that, and also in hindsight,it was funny enough to spend the entire tournament following the guy around humming take on me to make it worth it.
I only feel bad that I snapped off at my Sensei,I came off the mat and he wanted to be helpful
"Do you know what you did wrong"
"Yeah,I threw hand strikes"
Though I will say,he went and looked at the tape, and came over to me and said bluntly,"Im sorry,I watched the tape, and you got screwed"
But what the hell,I still left the joint with a gold and a silver.
