I've always said that if the amount of money a fighter earns is any measure of his ability, then de la Hoya is overrated. But I guess there is more to the money thing than just what happens inside the ring.
I have and holy crap! Those are some crazy people. Calzaghe and Pacquiao fanatics are on the same level. If I'm a fan of Pacquiao and Pac huggers have the ability to make me go "WOW! Is this guys is serious!?" Calzaghe fans have made me say the same things as well.
I haven't really had problems with Hatton fans. Just when they boo national anthems but that's about it.

Here are fighters whom I feel get a wee bit too much rating from people.
Riddick Bowe:
I've read things like "Bowe at his best/prime he'd beat Ali" or he'd beat Lennox.
I mean really how long was Bowes prime?
1 fight....
Aaron Pryor:
Such a short career, whos premier wins came over 2 fighters who were past their best days. Plus this whole "SRL ran from him" has become a line used to try and glorify him. SRL wasn't the only top fighter around so to me it doesn't mean much.
I would hardly say he made those three look overrated. He just had Barrera's number. Morales fought a perfect game plan in the first fight and beat him. The second Morales fight was competitive the whole way Pac just wore him out. The third fight was the most dominating of all the fight against the three.
Marquez vs Pacquiao could've gone either way each time so I don't think one had dominance over the other.
Either way. I get what you mean on your last two sentences.
