LOL I'm with you bud. Yes it was a neat concept, but you need a little more than a good idea to keep things going.

I never even saw the second or third Matrix movies, its not like I hated the first, just didn't have any interest in seeing them for some reason.

    Erkel's dad? Wasn't it Laura's dad?

and I'm glad you decided I must watch it again, maybe if I need to sleep one of these nights.

Most pure action movies, really they all bore me. Die Hard included.
yea the Bourne movies sucked really bad. I only watched the 1st one, but that was all i needed to see.

and the Matrix movies suck too. like Spicoli said after the 1st one there was really no need for anymore like really.

Myself, I'm bever sure who to blame for a movie I dislike. Take most of the Rocky Movies, or Rambo movies for example. Is it just Stallone's acting that's shit, or is it the story, or the direction, or what?

Anyways, obviously I have little use for Stallone as an actor. Or is it just his characters I hate?

fuck you're right, Erkel wasn't a direct descendant was he? Good job remembering the daughters name.

As wrong as you generally are in this thread, the Bourne camera was a bit annoying, I only saw the first.

Reeves almost entered his David carusso phase...just playing it over the top, forcing it not to mention Laurence "don't call me Larry" Fishburn in 'super sci-fi ultra wise tough guy mode'

    Two of mine
The Matrix-Great,Butthead as a sci fi star, huh huh huh huh, like what is the Matrix Beavis
Gladiator-Im a brooding General, now Im a brooding slave, now Im a brooding Gladiator, now Im a brooding................ According to this film, noone in the Roman Empire ever laughed. I can hear the director now,"Russell, now what we want for this scene,is the exact same facial expression youve had in the last 35 scenes.

I did like one scene in Titanic, the one where Dicaprio's character slips in to a watery grave

Ah mate I agree completely. I watched the first one and thought it was utter crapness I still can't believe that they managed to get a trilogy of blockbuster films and a whole range of kids toys out of that shit. I couldn never even bear to watch the second two.

I know I'll be in a minority here too but the Dark Knight completely went over my head as well. Everyone I know told me how amazing it was but I had to stop watching after 30 minutes just becuase it's the campest, most ridiculous film I've ever seen.

I mean they tried to make it dark and realistic, but you just can't do that with a man who wears a black cape and dresses like a bat, with a stupid synthesized voice. It is by definition, campy, comic book fun for nerds, trying to dress it up as a serious dark fantasy is doomed to fail and only emphasises how ridiculous it really is.

    Really?

Sure you're not confused? With Bruce Willis, terrorists taking over the Nakatomi plaza?

I'm not even angry, just sad.
Die Hard 1, is quite possibly in top 5 greatest action movies ever.

The Bourne movies are up there with my favorite trilogies of all time.... I may give Cold Mountain a try another time.. Wasn't in the mood for it... My girlfriend has read a book every week for the 4 years i've known her, and Cold Mountain was the first book that she didn't want to finish..

Shows that we all have different tastes..

I'm a real fan of cheap thrills though... I do like deeper stuff of course, but rarely is a big blockbuster with even a half decent story line wasted on me..

I didn't like Crash either.. Didn't like Monsters Ball or whatever with Halle Berry.. Plus this one will probably get me crucified by a few people, but I wouldn't put Halle Berry in my top 200,000 most attractive women on earth.. Neither with Angelina Jolie.. Both are as overrated to me as just about anything can be overrated....

Darn, every time I try to think of some of the movies I didn't like, I end up just thinking of actors I don't like..

I'll have to dig up one of our "recommend me a movie" threads.. I remember most of the movies recommended were brilliant, but there were a few that I thought were horrible...

I watched Seven Pounds yesterday, I thought that was a great film, actually got a bit weepy at the end, it was a sad film but uplifting at the same time and Will did a great job in it I thought.

They just started advertising that over here and comes out 7th of January I think.. or something like that... Just from the ad's i've seen on television, I can't work out what it's even about? I'll probably pass on the spoiler.. The Mrs is probably going to drag me to see it sometime..

Another one that looks interesting is Curious Case of Benjamin Button.... The one where the guy is born old and gets younger through his life... Looks incredibly strange and possibly a bit of a ladies movie...
Has anyone seen this?? Another one i'll be dragged to in the next few weeks, so a heads up if I should bring my PSP kidding...

    I've only got a DS...
