What strategy can give Pacquiao a measure of success, given that a lot of us here feel that Hatton has a great physical advantage against Manny Pacquiao?

Will it be enough to give fans the excitement, a fight of this magnitude should likely provide?

Same thing he did againt Oscar.

He has to fight fast, key in to land that left cross, and move a lot. Hatton will be bringing a lot more pressure than Oscar, and more speed. Pacquiao needs to use movement to tire Hatton out, but I don't see Manny being able to back Hatton.

When Hatton charges in, a little sidestep followed by a hook to the jaw ought to do it.

I'm think that a straight left would be even better.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Take Ricky Hatton out a day before the fight, get him pissed then he wakes up with a hangover and there you have it the key to success.

Perhaps, but a sidestep/hook increases the likelihood of a headbutt collision with the ringpost.

Hopefully this time Ricky Hatton just misses the ringpost. And headbutts Floyd Mayweather Sr as he is flying out the ring. Nothing would please me more.

He did this to Oscar dela Hoya a few times with great success. Athough the lead left straight, looks quickest to the target.

Of course Hatton will bring more to the fight. He will not be weight drained and besides, Hatton still has gas left in the tank and in good shape unlike ODLH.
Like you said, boxing with speed seems to be a good key. Also, keeping him on the distance, not inside. Fighting straight forward or inside might be what Hatton wants to use his brawling style.

I think Pacquiao stays off the ropes, then he will have chances. Head movement is necessary to lessen the chance of getting hit flush, by arguably his strongest opponent to date, Hatton.

    The same thing PBF did...

Time him... Let Ricky rush in and catch him with a shot and timed well.

2 things that Pac happens to do very well.

hatton is the better infighter here and definitely the stronger guy having KOed bigger opponents. it would be very foolish for pacquiao to mix it up. hatton inside ten
