Red face I got accepted into the Co-op Program at school

Which is fucking sweet. It means I'll be alternating work terms with academic terms, allowing me to gain important work experience in my fields of study.

I'm doing a double major in history and anthropology, and it can be real bitch trying to find decent work following graduation. This program will help place me in jobs relate to the disciplines, paying me well, and allowing me to both gain experience and make contacts in industry. I'm fucking stoked, it pays pretty well too.

Sorry, I know no one cares, but I had to tell someone

That's great man. Myself I find the history of previous civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Aztecs, Incas, Pagans, etc to be fascinating. There a ton of good video documentaries on the subject available on youtube.

There are all sorts of job opportunities. Doing research, museum/cultural resource management, archaeology, parks etc. The average salaries are between $2,500-$3,500 per month, so not great, but it'll help put money in my pocket towards more schooling.

I'll have a better idea about the specific jobs available once I attend the information seminars.
