It's the current number of reputations points that you can give to another poster. It's calculated according to how much reputation points that you have. Your punching power is enabled after you have 100 posts and have already accumulated some reputation points.

Plus, you get 1 punch power per 100 rep. So as rep increses, per 100 so does your punch power.

You can also use this to negative rep something or someone saying something you dislike...and it will take away from their rep. For negative rep...it is 1/2 of your punch power that'll be subtracted from their total rep.

Most don't negative rep too often, but sometimes I think it is warranted. Myself I tend to neg. rep spammers and anything I deem racial.

Just a FYI, for anyone who doesn't have 100 posts yet to access the hidden forums, or doesn't go there...Saddo just changed the rep. system.

Now instead of it being 100 reps to 1 punch power, that is now changed to 10000 to 1 punch power. The reason for it largely that the numbers were getting excessively high.

He also implemented a bonus punch power system for long term members as well as post totals. This is a good way to thank long term members for their loyalty, and those who post frequently.

Hope this explains any changes you might notice.
