I think we have enouigh agreement to pass 2 votes per manager. I would like it if you guys would double check me, as I guarantee I will forget.

    Motions on the floor.

    --------------------------------------------------------
    Motion Carries
winner of Antonio DeMarco/ Anges Adaho enter the pool at 135 (Galaxy) 5/27/29

    Against: 0

    --------------------------------------------------------
    Motion Carries

    For: 3 Galaxy, Killersheep, JazMerkin

    Against: 0

    --------------------------------------------------------

The winner of Wladimir Klitschko and Ruslan Chagaev wins the vacant Saddoboxing.com Heavyweight title (Killersheep) 6/7/09

For: 7 Killersheep*, CFH, Galaxy, JazMerkin, DaxxKhan, Spicoli

    Against: 0

    --------------------------------------------------------

Nelson Dieppa to be removed from the pool due to inactivity (Galaxy) 6/7/09

    For: 2 Galaxy, Killersheep

    Against: 0

    --------------------------------------------------------

Bernard Inom to be removed from the pool due to inactivity (Galaxy) 6/7/09

    For: 2 Galaxy, Killersheep

    Against: 0

    --------------------------------------------------------

How many spots does Rubillar drop after his loss to Omar Nino Romero? (Galaxy) 6/7/09

    0 spots: 2 Galaxy, Killersheep

to the pool: 1 Violent Demise

    -------------------------------------------------------

No need to vote on Quintana, as just by following our rules he enters the pool at 154 and is removed from 147 due to not fighting there in over a year.
The only reason we would have to vote is to overturn these decisions.

Okay, a lot of chatter about the responsibility of a manager, so let me try to clear this up.

There is one manager per weightclass. The responsibility of that manager is to focus on that weight class. This includes

    1. Making sure all ranked fighters have fought within a year at that weightclass.

    2. Making sure all ranked fighters have at least a win in the last 2 years.

    3. Making sure anyone in the pool has not been in there for a year without a revote.

    4. Keeping an eye out for new talent in that division.

    5. Votes for all motions on the floor that you have sufficient knowledge of.

    6. Breaking ties on motions that have expired in your weightclass.

    Benefits of being a manager.

    1. Get 2 votes in your respective weight class.

    2. Having a say in the only rankings that matter.

    3. Putting forward motions for us to vote on.

    Good stuff killer

Rule number 2 should read 1 win in 2 years, right?

Just an update on the motion carried that the winner of DeMarco/ Adaho enters the 135 pool, the fight may qaulify for a vacant position but I'll put a vote up after the fight happens

Hey mi hermano, Rubillar can't drop one spot because the spot below him is vacant.
Than drop him into the pool. He is coming off back to back losses. His last win which was over Romero really should of been a loss. His last legit win was over a 0-0 fighter. That's just what i think. And that's why we vote

I make a motion to drop Ola Afolabi out of the ratings put him in the pool move everyone below him up 1 spot and enter Troy Ross at #10

Ola has fought 4 times in over 4 years his best win is Over Enzo Maccarinelli his 2 opp befire that were 9-3 and 11-0

Ross has been on a roll as of late and is on a 9 fight streak though against Journeymen still better comp then Ola has been in with and more active

    I gotta vote against this

For starters Afolabi gained his rank from the intial ratings of all those who voted in the beginning, he has meet the requirements of our rules (been active in a year & recorded a win in the last 2 years)

Plus our rules state that you must beat someone rated to become rated, or win a fight that the committee votes is for a vacant spot (there is no vacancy)... something Ross has not done yet

Also Afolabi just ko'd Maccarinelli who was rated by The Ring at the time & I guarantee would have made our ratings had Afolabi not starched him! Afolabi deserves his spot!!!

Ross will get his opportunity down the track if he keeps winning

Fair enough (Though I was not around during the initial ratings but that is my fault)

I still do not think that 4 fights in almost 5 years against so so comp warrents his rating, I certainly do not think he should be ranked above Wlodarczyk who is just a few fights from being champ.\

Just my opp mate but the votes decide and what ever it turns out to be I am not against. Had to throw my opp in though and make the motion

I agree with you that his rating is too high, but that was where he ended up once all the votes were totalled.

I vote him higher than Ross though, who has never defeated a ranked fighter yet!

Instead of Afolabi, I would be looking at guys like Arslan & Tokarov

I agree but it was a technical decision with still 5 rounds to go

VD you got some fights lined up that might qualify for you vacant positions (2 if Rubillar is removed)? I thought Hernadez/ Jaro was a good one, other than that no ones really fighting

Oh what do you think of Casimero? He just fought a week back. Good enough to make the pool?

No need to vote on Quintana, as just by following our rules he enters the pool at 154 and is removed from 147 due to not fighting there in over a year.
The only reason we would have to vote is to overturn these decisions.
I'm for the motions I bolded and I think Rubillar should drop to the pool. He's lost two fights in a row.
