Default Inside Fighting- Overhand Rights or Crosses?

I think Overhand Rights are more practical in Inside Fighting because you are dealing with Hooks and Uppercuts in Inside Fighting. I think Crosses are great, but the problem is that you have to shorten them when fighting on the Inside, don't have the luxury of fully extending them. What do you guys think?

Or (in the right situation); If you are both squared up
adjust the same side foot thats behind your cross first.
(which will move your head out of the way of an upper cut comming in on that same side).
Then turn and throw the cross and turn your hip in to follow it; which if done flowing removes your head further, giving you your distance, more power and a counter that follows his miss.your other leg will adjust and pull back around automatically. (your inside hand is still free to deal with his other arm if it comes. Because you've moved bodily out to the side then turned and faced back in, you are still square to him and can smack his head with both your fists where as he can only reach you with the one that he has just extended so you got all the cards for a second, even if he ducks and you miss the cross he will be more sideways to you or with one lead foot further out so your still in a position of inside fighting with squared up shoulders in relation to his position and you smother him and jump on him firing off both arms.

Its not enough distance for strong cross. Use you overhead from rigt to the left and up to the down diagonaly. Try to duck in the same time
