I was wondering with Pac beating guys that Mayweather has already beaten in Oscar and Hatton and Pac being the present P4P#1 and them both being multiple weight champions who is ranked higher i think its Mayweather.

its mayweather for he hes never been beat and cant see him haven any problems with jmm or pacman if he fights him.
1.Pacquiao had better opposition(fought bigger fighters than himself)
2.Common opponents Oscar and Ricky was stopped by Manny.
3.For naturally being smaller PAC is a better puncher. FEAT!!!
4.Perfection in PBF's record is nothing since he is UNTESTED at Welterweight anyways.
5.PBF is picking on smaller fighters like JMM and PAC instead of fighting Cotto, Mosely or Paul Williams to ESTABLISH his GREATNESS against men his SIZE!!!

I think right now I'd have to say Pacquiao because Mayweather hurt is case by 'retiring' and also the fact he's not taking on the top fighters at his current weight.
Pacquaio......I think Pac has the edge in heart/mental toughness and Money has the edge in physical talent. Pac has always fought the best, and Mayweather has not. Mayweather has Roy Jones syndrome, he definitely has the physical talent to be an all time great but has limited himself because he is afraid to lose......
At this point I dont consider Floyd an all time great.
I love Floyd but I gotta go with the Pacman as of now. 6 titles 4 division legit champ and took on the very best. I don't think Pac would have retired without fighting a Cotto or a Margarito.
right this moment i'd say pac. But when it's all said and done who knows. Everyone always remembers the last thing they saw. Just about five minutes ago cotto was for sure the guy, by the end of the day it may be someone else.

if thats the case then how can we gauge pbf overall as a boxer? he didnt pushed his physical limits against bigger guys or boxers most of us think is better than pbf so how will we know if he really is great?
pacs record aint perfect he lost a few when he was struglling in weight also lost to great boxers. BUT he won against the best ALL except jmm admitted the they where beaten by a midget/amateur/one dimensional fighter. and the two boxers both of them have in common hatton and odlh pac disposed of in a manner better than pbf.
Pac no doubt. It amazing how he can leap frog division after division and KO his opponents like that. That's just crazy.
When Mayweather fought Oscar he fought him while he was the number 1 Light-middleweight in the world at his best fighting weight. After fighting Mayweather Oscar did'nt look so good vs Forbes then he drops down in weight and fights Pac now stoppage or not does Pac's win over Oscar really look better than Mayweathers? This was an ageing Oscar who had'nt fought at Welterweight for more than 10 years and had to be rehydrated via Intravenus. Morales was shot and David Diaz was just their to be hit i love to watch Pac fight i really do and he is a great champ and is great for the sport and no doubt right now he is P4P#1 but are we getting hype crazy??
why was Gavin Rees not one of the options ?
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
I find PBF's overall talent to be superior, but I am more impressed with Manny's body of work. So I think Floyd is the better fighter but I put Manny higher for the moment in regards to the mythical ATG..if that makes sense.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
Honestly, I'd say it's too early to talk about either one as an ATG. Those kinds of discussions are much better with the power of hindsight. Right now, both guys still have a bit more boxing to do.
First, it is too soon to make the call. Let's wait.
However, if Pacquiao beat Cotto after Cotto beat Clottey and PBF retired after his Marquez fight. I'd probably go with Pacquiao.
Tyson - who did you pick to win the Oscar v. Pacquiao fight? Who did you pick to win the Oscar v. PBF fight? I picked Oscar in the first instance and Floyd in the second. It is all fine to look at it with 20/20 hindsight, but that was a big win for Pacquiao. Oscar was the much bigger man and Pacquiao the decided underdog. And it was less than a year and a half since Oscar lost by split decision to PBF. In between the Pac fight and the PBF fight, Oscar only fought once. He couldn't have aged that much. Pacquiao destroyed Oscar. Since we are comparing similar foes, it took Pacquiao less than two round to beat Hatton at Hatton's natural weight in a fight in where Hatton had the size advantage; it took PBF 10 rounds to beat Hatton at PBF's natural weight in a fight where PBF had the size advantage.
Question: how many lineal titles does PBF hold? Not being rhetorical, I honestly don't know.
Right now it's Pac. But that could change this year (hope not).
