    Default Friday night fights

A little late getting out of the gate and nothing else up so just putting it up.Glad its Friday, looooong week and not the biggest of weekends in store for us but some action none the less.

Main event features Middleweights Brian Vera 16-2 (10) taking on Freddie Roaches pupil Craig McEwan 14-0 (9).Not sure of undercard?Yet another show with Hopkins in studio.

1st up is Adrien Broner 8-0 (6) meeting Fernando Quintero 7-0-1

Broner one of those very vocal types.Lots of flash and that iritating habit of 'dragging' his right hand back in exagerated loop over his head lol.Cotto as doing that against Gomez.Broner pretty fast and looking to time Quintero as he advances.Broner there for righthands

Quintero getting closer here in the 2nd.Gets through Broners defense when he wades in,stronger it seems.Broner has fast hands but trying to be too flashy with it.Quintero through twice as many shots in the 2nd.

Broner catching some looping rights from Quintero inn the 3rd round, pretty ugly.Teddy calls it on Broners legs all wide.....not too mention squared.haha....Broner gos all caveman to end the round, practically yelling at Quintero."pop, bop, kaaawaaawaaahaaa" Quintero gives him the wtf stare. Quintero has more substance.

I have high hopes for Scottish Craig McEwan (remember my "Alfredo Angulo won't fight McEwan" thread? )... Brian Vera will be a good tough test...

5th round up...Broner coming out more straigh and shooting jabs. When Quintero presses/asserts ,Broner shuts down.Quinteros left hand down at knee.Broner waiving hands around.Hopkins calling it with alot of guys today trying to be to flashy, wasted energy.Just settle down.Think Quintero should do a bit more, may come back to bite him.

Quintero really putting it on in 6th.Cannot decide if Broner reminds me more of A young Hopson or a Monica Seles .Quintero out landing Broner over last few rounds according to punch stats.Broner really needs to stay focused...way to much theatrical shite in 7th,less sizzle, more steak please.Quintero warned for clipping Broner behind head as Broner falls in and clutches.

Last round here.....YEEEEH.This ones hard to watch.

Broner really clipped Quintero to end 7th.Pressing a bit more here and sliding off straight ahead Quintero.Nice right from Quintero as Broner is squared on ropes.Broners mouth open, man he gets sloppy jumping in.Quintero not punching in between this stuff. And it ends with ever vocal Broner yelling "Kiaaa haaa jiwaaa" as he chops a left.To the cards....Even if Quintero "won" it,hes not getting this one me thinks.

2-0 Charles Hatley just came in and leveled some poor late sub at 55 seconds of 1st.Rolled off and shot short right to chin dropping him hard, stood up only to be felled again.

Mayweather grabbing Marquez by shoulders at stare down, what a chump!!Floyd all buffed up in wife-beater shirt, and JMM stuffed into a huge full suit still looks dwarfed.
