    Default Pick your Prospect

Fairly new on here so not sure if this has been done before- delete this thread if it has... but...

thought it would be interesting if everyone picked a prospect for the future...

    the criteria
-must have under 10 pro fights
    -can not hold a title
-you must believe the fighter will one day win a world title

just a bit of fun to see what names come up, preferable stay away from the most well known, find some one a bit different, although this isn't vital, and try not to repeat a name some one else has already picked!

Mine is going to be: MATT KOROBOV

I was thinking maybe Lara too, he's a bit lost in the shuffle with the other Cubans but he's sound.

I don't know, I have brain freeze, can't think of anybody. I'll go Karl Dargan, I've heard some good things and the very small amount I've seen of him looked pretty good. That's highly speculative, I think he's had only like three fights.

The under 10 fights qualification makes it difficult. I wanted to say Jacobs, but he's had 16 fights so far. I really think he'll be a belt holder some day.

He was the first guy I thought of as well, he really looks like he's got it all. Met him in Vegas after the Hatton-Pacquiao fight & he was a really cool guy, had a talk about boxing with him. Both me & my chick thought he was a safe enough guy that I would pay to see him fight

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I like Korobov, seen his last 2 fights and he is a tank... Albeit weak comp but none the less he should really show out in the next 2 years.

I was going to say jacobs too Ouma. Like him alot, showed great poise and composure in his last fight against a guy he couldnt Ko and wouldnt go away. He defenitly grew up a little after that fight

I'm going to roll with a local light heavyweight named...

    Mark "TNT" Tucker.

When I say local I mean local. We both shop at the same Wal-Mart.

He just makes the cut with nine fights. He just won a MD against Ross Thompson. Thompson went the distance with Pavlik and Lacy and Oba Carr.

Guillermo Rigondeaux will be the next legitimate p4p king. He's far better than anyone else mentioned here.

Daniel Jacobs looked pretty poor on the Pacquiao-Hatton undercard. I wasn't impressed with him at all.

Well Rigon didn't look all that spectacular in his debut so thus far he's shown he's not that far better then anyone else.
