Default Al Gore's journalists in North Korea...

Perhaps you have heard of Laura Ling and Euna Lee have been detained in North Korea and sentenced to like 20 years hard labor, but there's no need to fear though, Al is going to call in some favors from his Polar Bear Army.

What do you guys think about this? Will Al Gore save them?

What on earth were they doing hovering on the border anyway? If they were in North Korea illegally then they should face whatever comes to them. If not, then they should be released. Either way, I don't really care too much.

I think Polar bears are definitely the way to go in saving them though.

It's been on Channel 4 news a few times.

If they're guilty then it's too bad

I don't see the point in playing the North Korea game any longer. Just bomb the place and let's deal with the fall out. I will just move to the Middle East if it gets messy.

Iraq was demolished for what exactly? And here is North Korea now proudly displaying a nuclear badge sticker and acting like bigger and bigger twats. The current policy is just prodding them to more and more bizarre measures whilst a lot of people there are in the most dire straits. Hit the targets and make China and Korea deal with the humanitarian issue and have a global support network supporting financially with the fallout.

I would actually like Samsung to pay the bulk amount because they claim on BBC news to support blind dogs for the blind and yet I have never seen a blind dog in Korea. They also charge Koreans who earn a lot less to pay a lot more for electronic goods than people from nations like the UK and America. They should give something back to their Korean brethren. The con artists, the Korean chaebol. Revolting really.

    Yep, bomb away!

the powers that be left it too late. Once a country becomes nuclear the US can't go in and flatten it.

Iraq was a case in point. They knew Saddam didn't have any WMD but needed to make sure - what they've actually done is speed up the nuclear programmes of countries like Iran who'll be thinking once we have the bomb they won't mess with us.

    Poorly played game IMO.

They're just a new bargaining chip for North Korea.
