Holy Shit, Holy Shit, Holy Shit.
I didn't even want to think about it for a while cause it was so far off and now its snuck up on me and we play for the National Championship in less than 24 hours.
Fuck.

Ouma has probs shit his pants twice by the end of the 1st Qtr...
2nd Qtr now and Bama just scored it's 2nd TD and they didn't need their Heisman winner.
Some trivia for you ONLY 1 RB Heisman winner has ever gone on to win the National title...
Tony Dorsett.
Bamas defense is sick man, they are just on one.
We did so much stupid shit in that game. The special teams were just WTF. We don't catch a kickoff, seriously who the fuck doesn't catch a kickoff? We get hit by a kickoff and they recover. How does that combination of things happen in one game? And we run some fake punt on 4th and 23 at our 20?
I mean I'm sitting here kind of mad How fucked up is that? We won.
Lost in all the McCoy talk was how effing awful McElroy was. Geezus, he's actually looked good lately, don't know if he was rattled or what. To be fair they were really good defensively outside of some run defense.
But its still pretty great.
i may change my mind on this but right now i'm leaning towards all this realignment stuff being kind of goofy. Conferences should be regional to an extent, now Oklahoma State fans are supposed to show up and support their team on a road game in Seattle?
The funny thing is though the Big Ten started all of this and they're STILL a joke conference. I mean Nebraska's a solid addition but nothing that great and Missouri's just meh.
If the SEC expands I guess I would like some combination of the U, Florida St., Georgia Tech, Clemson, or maybe Va. Tech although that's really too far away.
oh and we won the national championship.
Yea I would be enjoying the national title thing a little more.
I'm firmly against this whole dissolving the Big 12. I don't mind it when 2 or 3 teams a year make the jump but I don't want to be playing Texas or Kansas St. in a conference game! It's ridiculous.
To be fair it makes a bit more sense now that I look at it. Put those six former Big 12 teams in the Pac 10 South with Arizona and Arizona State and then play a couple inter-divisonal games a year v so fans from the Texas/Oklahoma area only have to go out to the Coast once or twice a year or so and vice versa.
And there could be an interesting hippie/redneck dynamic going on.
I still don't like it but whatever.
Get ready for Texas though. They're arrogant even compared to Alabama fans. Which seems impossible but its true. The idea of boatloads of Texas fans pulling into Berkley is amusing to me. They're the reason for all of this, they bullied the SWC, bullied the Big 12, took the majority of the TV money, etc. Nebraska wanted out because of that mainly.
I don't know many Bama fans the ones I do are more proud then arrogant and also from Alabama. I'm ready, I still think if they do this expanding we should get a title game. 16 teams with no title game sounds a little absurd.
