    Default Another American Heavyweight upended

Well folks, BOWIE TUPOU is the most recent American casualty in the heavyweight division. He got KO'd by the 15(13 KO)-17 Demetrius King.

It's a shame us Americans don't have better representantion at heavyweight....there's no reason for us to have this poor of a showing at this weight class.

Chris Arreola and Eddie Chambers, but then again that's not saying much. And there's always the fan favorite, John Ruiz.

....I think Evander Holyfield is still the best American heavyweight, sad really.

Evander is the only American I could see lasting the distance with either Klitschko brother...lI wouldn't want to see that, but the fact is he's a tough S.O.B and he could go the distance. I think Arreola and Chambers will be EASY fights for the Klitschko's

Demetrius King is one very tough hombre who has fought very stiff opposition. He also KOd then unbeaten Bermaine Stiverne. Anyone who fights him risks losing. He has only been stopped once.

Technically he is from Tonga not America and it sucks for all the heavyweights because this would have been good to have another undefeated heavyweight contender.

King is MUCH better than his record. He always does well against prospects usually just barely coming up short. This was only an upset on paper.

Demetrice King has added a 2nd upset to his resume. 1st he Ko's Canadian prospect Bermane Stiverne and now Ko's Bowie Tupou of Tonga.

Maybe King is America's top Heavyweight?... no scrap that - Michael Grant beat him last year.
