Default personal greatest 3 boxing moments..

3.Watching marco antonio barrera-Erik Morales 1 live and exclusive in the early hours of a sunday morning. Being a young lad my interest in the sport was fairly vague so getting up at 4 in the morning was an acheivement in itself. The greatest fight ive ever seen in real time and despite being thousands of miles away got to experience the great moment at 1st hand. Truly sensational fight

2.A revitalised bernard hopkins doing over pavlik. Nobody but nobody gave bhop a chance. Seeing hopkins tee off on kelly like he did was a great great moment for someone who had followed the man like i had. Hopkins stand and stare to the media present with that intense look at the end of the fight was proper hairs on the back of the neck stuff. Dont care what anyone says about him the guys a true great.

1.Attending hatton-pacquiao in vegas. Having only attended contests held in leisures centre and york hall with 1 man and his dog present it was quite an emotional experience having 25,000 fellow countrymen in an entirely different continent watching our man go for the p4p title. Truly awe inspiring experience and rekindled my absoloute love with the passion and intensity this sport has over any other.

having seen the 1st 50 seconds you would of fought it would of been a 1st round TKO for mcclellan

calzaghes famous "he cant punch shit" at the end of the second round made that night for me

3 in the morning in a sold out MEN roaring ricky to victory over the greatest fighter of that era was sensational.

    3. Jim Watt v Sean O'Grady Live
    2. Hagler v Mugabi on big screen at a theatre in Glasgow
    1. Leonard v Duran 1 Live in Canada

all great moments for me as a fight fan but more important because I saw these ones with my Dad who died a while back. Some of those times when you have that bond for something you both love.

3)Froch's last gasp win over Taylor. Watched on omnisport, american coverage, the commentators hit the right note as Froch chased Taylor round the ring looking to land that big shot "HE.IS.TRYING.TO.KNOCK.HIM.OUT!""

2)Calzaghe's win over Lacy. From fear to hope to expectation to losing control of my bladder

    1) Lewis' picture perfect knockout of Rahman. Boom!boom!!

(clear national bias there, apologies, but if it was a top 4 MAB beating Hamed would have made the list

i am a bit shocked that Benn beating McClellen could be a favourite moment. Of course it was a great fight and amazing effort from Benn, but still...its a bit tasteless isnt it?

oh, thats unlucky. I sat and watched it alone, in a dressing gown with a bottle of mulled wine for company. Was one of my most enjoyable moments watching boxing though. think i might get ticket now, but do you know where froch-kessler is scheduled to take place?
