Default Ticket Sales for PBF v. JMM versus MP v. MC

Here is a link to an interesting article asserting that Pacquiao v. Cotto is in far more demand than Mayweather v. Marquez.

    I can understand that...
    its
big name Fighter (Pac) vs. big name Fighter (Cotto)
    vs.
big name Fighter (Marquez) vs. Big name Runner (PBF)
Obiously Pac vs. Cotto gonna sell more.

Sorry, but for most of both of his fights he stayed right in the pocket with Hatton, and right in range against ODLH. He could have used way more foot movement(especially laterally) against both of them and not foughten off the ropes at all, but Floyd didn't rely on speed the way he easily could have against either guy.

Classifying the Floyd-JMM fight as counterpuncher vs. counterpuncher would be the more accurate way to describe it.

It's a counter puncher vs counter puncher fight, I'm pretty sure that fight won't outsell Cotto vs Pacquiao. Basically because of the names there and the styles of both fighters. Besides people would probably be saving their money for the Pacquiao vs Floyd fight should it happen.

Really no big deal imo. Marquez isn't considered a monumental name though he deserves it. And I'm actually glad Floyd is giving him a chance because I don't think Marquez would get a third fight with Pacquiao.
