Westminster, MD - Former three time world champion and pound for pound elite Paul “The Punisher” Williams will appear as a special guest for TNT Promotions 21’s fight card next Friday, September 25.

Williams will be on hand to check out longtime sparring partner Mark “TNT” Tucker, who will look to win his first title in the ten round main event. Tucker is set to battle experienced Las Vegan Jim “Steel Chin” Strohl, 27-7 (21 KO’s), for the USBO Light Heavyweight title. Tucker, 11-0 (7 KO’s) of Eldersburg, MD, is amped about the opportunity to not only win his first title, but also showcase his abilities in front of one of the best fighters in the world.

“It’s awesome that Paul is going to be at the fight” said Tucker, who holds victories over title contenders Rubin Williams and Ross Thompson. “He is a great fighter that I have learned a lot from and it’s an honor that he will be there supporting me.”

TNT Promotions 21’s “Showdown at the Shipley Arena” co-feature is an eight round rematch between Super Featherweights Tyrell “Da Show Shocka” Samuel 12-3 (6 KO’s) of Baltimore, MD and Gustavo Dailey 4-5 (1 KO) of Philadelphia, PA. On July 17, Dailey stunned Samuel in an all out war, taking a hard fought split decision.

Jamar “Da Truth” Freeman 4-0-1 (1 KO), is slated to take on Norman Allen 6-3 (3KO’s), of Laurel, MD in a six round Junior Middleweight affair. Wilson, NC’s Freeman is trained by the aforementioned George Peterson.

Cruiserweight Zack “Black Warrior” Mwekassa of Kinshasa, Congo will challenge Pine Level, NC’s Gary Lavender 7-13 (6 KO’s) in a six round Cruiserweight bout. The heavy handed Mwekassa, 8-1 (7 KO’s), is making his US debut.

Decorated amateur Emmanuel “The Transformer” Taylor 2-0 (2 KO’s), from Edgewood Arsenal, MD will take on Washington Heights, NY’s Amaury Torres 4-9-2 (1 KO) in a four round Junior Welterweight contest.

Popular Middleweight Allen “Pit Bull” Perkins 1-0 of Fredrick, MD will challenge Omar Sims 2-1-2 (1 KO), of Baltimore in a four rounder for local bragging rights.

Hot Welterweight prospect James “Keep em Sleepin” Stevenson 11-0 (10 KO’s), of Baltimore and Newport News, VA native Jeremiah Wiggins, 5-0-1 (3 KO’s), will each face opponents to be named.

Individual ticket prices range from $15- $125. VIP mini tables of four are going for $300 and VIP seating for ten ranges from $750- $1250. All VIP ticket holders will get free Hor’dourves from 7-8 PM.

Radio personality “Theo” From 98 Rock will be the special guest ring announcer along with the popular Henry “Discombobulating” Jones. The card is being promoted by TNT Promotions 21 in association with the Maryland Boxing Club.

During the last two years, TNT Promotions 21 has brought boxing to life in Northern Maryland. They have hosted four shows at the Shipley Arena, bringing in a larger crowd each time they returned. TNT 21 also has the exclusive promotional rights to Mark Tucker.
