True, guess that is why they call him Ricky Fatton.... Gaining weight like that and then losing quick can't be good for him.. i wonder how much of that played in his performance in the ring... I still think Pac and Mayweather would beat him but maybe the Pac fight would not be as brutal...He alwayz blows up in between fights.
As i nwaht weight who knoes...he can make 140 still if u ask me...

Yeah, Ricky had a well known detrimental habit of blowing up to the 170s in between fights. A lot of times at weigh ins he looked like death.

Like a few have said he always is that size, but as you yo yo in wieght as you get older it defintly effects you, I do think he can make 140 but I dont think he is as effective these days . I hope he stays retired.

I think this blowin up in between fights gave him the "Roy Jones effect" which made him more sustainable to a KO.True, guess that is why they call him Ricky Fatton.... Gaining weight like that and then losing quick can't be good for him.. i wonder how much of that played in his performance in the ring... Roy Jones went up with muscle. He had to exercise in a way that allowed him to lose tone. Ricky had to shed fat. He could have been a lot more effective in his career if he'd committed to staying 10lbs at the most above fighting weight. Id estimate hatton to be around 190 odd right now, he has gone up to 200 in the past
He`s one of those rareitys in that he can lose weight just as fast as he can put it on
