Had to give a couple workers a ride home and apparently still having a CD case in the car is hysterical to 20 somethings... Hey man. Wtf

You know you are getting old when you have never heard of "the dab"

Taught about films and music and you really see the age gap in place. Had a class where most had never heard of Indiana Jones. Hip hop was the most popular music. I nodded along, but couldn't get into it. Maybe it's always been like that. When I was at school there was only me buying Bowie's Outside album and only a few really into the excellent alternative stuff of the time. Most were listening to pretty poor music. Not sure why people listen to bad music really.

No, life is more precious as you start to appreciate that you are near your end in life.

That is because you have more experience and have seen the good with the bad which gives you better perspective.

It is about A Painter/Sculptor (Lynch) examining the dark underbelly of American Culture whilst simultaneously dismantling the very apparatus of Televison and the fictionalized form of episodic crime dramas (comics/penny dreadfuls etc) that preceded it. It's a bit like Bergerac but with Ross's mum carrying a log and Brockton dancing to Jazz whilst speaking backwards in a red room. It is both brilliant and incredibly shite at the same time. Umissable. It's like hallucinogenics for straight people

I was touring with an anarchist collective, making short films and recording bands so didn't watch much myself but caught Twin Peaks when I could for more than one reason
