I won't even be surprised the day they will name 2 champions and 2 super champions at the same time, something like the WBA middleweight Asia super Champion and the WBA middleweight Americas super champion. It is their next step.

Ive just read that Golden Boy Promotions , has issued a statement , that they have assurances from the WBA that there will not be an interim fight.
It was Don King who started the rumour.

If state boxing commissions ban together they could create their own belts, nix sanctioning fees that belt holders have to pay (so titles are no longer money-makers) they could become a non-corrupt body. Well, that is, if promoters and whomever else weren't already deep inside them. That's probably why states haven't done it. I seriously don't want it to happen, but federal intervention may be the onlyway to clean this mess up.
