Considering the wake up call Fury got last time youd expect him to come into this fight in shape and focused but we didnt. What that suggests is that when he is up against it in the future he wont be able to raise his game because he isnt good enough. If thats the best he can do I dont see him progressing past English title level.
He was gasping for breath and his balance was the worse Ive seen from any fighter, he holds onto ropes, falls around and looks very poor boxing off the front or back foot. If he was up against a quality operator you could understand why he was made to look bad but he was fighting big fat John Mcdermot whos greatest acheivements have been losing twice to a washed up Danny Williams and being blown away in 1 round by a 40 year old Matt Skelton.
Fury proved that he is all hype last night and he replaces Audley as our biggest joke fighter.
