    Default Macklin v Barker

How do people see this fight going? For me, Barker has long being an underrated fighter but was unconvincing last time out when given a time to shine. Macklins going through a real purple patch right now but has being in a few wars that could catch up with him. Im tipping Barker to win a barn burner by late stoppage, also think he has more to offer further down the line

Yeah i agree itll be a very close scrap, top bill overall as well. Brook v Jennings is another 50/50 for me, gotta give props to Warren for putting it together.

Just hope nobody backs out. I think Brook will stop Jennings roundabout 6 or 7. I don't even rate Brook as highly as Sky do. Just don't think Jennings has much left in the tank. The Cotto shelling will have taken something out of him. If Brook puts it on him anywhere near like Cotto did, i see Jennings crumbling again. Probably hasn't got the same hunger to take punishment or fight at an uncomfortable tempo.

It wouldnt surprise me if one of the higher profile fights saw a fighter pull out, these bigger bills often seem to get late withdrawals. I think Jennings has a good chance if he can keep it high tempo and sustain his workrate through mid to late rounds. As you say though this will all come down to whats left in the tank after Cotto and/or if Brook is as good as hes made out to be

Really is a 50/50 fight, Iwould favour Macklin slightly after Barkers last fight which was a step up of anything he has fought before and it showed and he barely got home.

I have to disagree with the Jennings Brook being a 50/50, even though I feel Brook is way overrated right now for what he has actually achieved I think he has to much for Jennings.

Agreed on Brook. Undecided on Macklin - Barker. Actually forgot Barker had a bit of a shocker not so long ago.

Shame he's charging us £15 to watch it! For fighters that are only really Friday night fight quality.

I'll be buying though, a few scraps I'm looking forward to. Looking forward to Sexton Chisora, think that will have a brutal knockout in it.

My money is on Macklin aswell, just
think he's in too much form. UD for me in another bruising battle.

No, but every fighter on the bill is normally on a domestic Skysports card on Friday night. They are some of Britains best yes, but they still aren't AAA class fighters.

The fact there are so many headliners on one card almost justifies it. I'll be paying for it, so it can't be that much of a rip off.
