Man, what has happened to Andre Berto? At one point he seemed destined for stardom, but between the Collazo fight and Mosley bailing on him, which was probably a good thing for him, he's been totally derailed.

He's just one of those athletic fighters who never seems to learn and never seems to correct anything because he can get away with it against lesser opponents... Fighting Kotelnik isn't going to do shit for him.

I thought Berto pulled out because of the Haiti disaster?

Yeah, you're right. For some reason I was thinking Mosley called it off to fight PBF, but that's incorrect.

    Goddamn alcohol... .

the guy has clearly suffered from what went on in haiti

hope he manages to get his career back on tracks as right now he needs to be as active as possible and not fighting once/twice a year at his age
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Aydin is a better fight. He is undefeated and a true welterweight. It would be more of a tune-up fight because Berto hasn't fought since April. Still, it is better than Kotelnyk who is a junior welterweight with no power. Cintron would be a great opponent for Berto right now.
