Floyd Mayweather: I'll Announce My Next Fight Very Soon - Boxing News
Who do you think would be acceptable?
Williams would be my first choice, then maybe Berto.

Has to be Paul Williams in my opinion. That's the only other real fight out there for him (Manny excluded, obviously). Would be a very entriguing fight because of the obvious 5" height difference. Not interested in seeing Berto vs Mayweather. Mayweather would easily beat him.
The very fact he said it will be in Dubai means he has absolutely no intentions whatsoever of fighting anytime soon. Take that to the bank.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I'd like to see him fight Cotto. I don't think Cotto would cause him too much trouble but I think it's about the best fight out there barring Pacquiao. Or Khan, I'd love to see Mayweather kick Khans arse.
The fact he said its in Dubai or something makes me think it will be some sort of charity work. A different kind of "fight"
Charity?
For donkey's years there's been a big fight happening in Dubai - Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Naz, Roy, Floyd, Pac, Khan etc
They never materialise.

Well it's obvious that he IS having money problems. No one should be expecting him to fight anyone of consequence or have it even be a real fight. Probably some type of exhibition fight where the rich guys in Dubai will give him millions to participate in. Wouldn't be surprised if it was some type of exhibition fight with Sugar Ray or some type of stunt like that.
It won't be Williams because Williams and Martinez are fighting in November. No clue.
(my 2 cents) I have a feeling it has more to do with that three letter dirty word ... TAX!
If I were a promoter in Dubai, I would know all he would have to do is match the offer to fight in Las Vegas and use the words "Tax Protection". The IRS is a real sore in Mayweather's side and I'm sure Pacquiao wouldn't mind not having to pay tax in the Philippines or on a US based fight. 30% of $100 Million dollar purse is a big incentive for both fighters. I know no one wants to beleive it for fear of being let down again but there is a real possibility that a fight between the two could happen in November, if the report is true.
Oh geeezuusss floyd who gives a fuck.......if i hear anymore, i'm gonna, i will, we might, this is going to happen, this might happen etc, i'm going to scream. When a fight is made let us know other than that the whole circus is old. Oh Oh floyd tied his shoes yesterday.....the left one first let's report it !!! Floyd is a part of boxing and i realize some stuff needs to be reported but the constant teasing is almost as irritating as seeing fans fall for it.
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
Why has no one pointed out that Floyd hasn't actually said a damn thing?
This article is Robin Leach claiming Floyd told him this stuff. Are we that desperate for news?
Exactly Sweetpea, until floyd actually sits down at a press conference and promotes a fight, then i'll start believing he's fighting. We've heard it all before, sure awhile back a source said he was fighting matthew hatton! Floyd keeps everything hush hush between him and roger. Can't see any announcments for a good while yet.
i thought PBF only came out of retirement to fight the best?
may as well fk off back into retirement if he aint gonna fight pacman
I don't know what this fascination with PW is... sure he is tall, lanky, and relatively quick. But he is so open defensively and he doesn't hit very. Even with his output there is no way he would able to dent Mayweather or Pacquiao. He is a guy who has all the potential in the world similar to Thomas Hearns, but he doesn't sit down on his punches nor has he learned to use his height or reach advantage. I don't think either Mayweather or PAcquiao would have a whole lot of trouble disposing of him.
