How about Donavon Bailey? Ex Olympic champion and world record holder in the 100m.

He's crap. He has no chance other than a Bute DQ

It was an answer to Bilbo's rant against Canada according to which we are meaningless and never produced a meaningful athlete, VD

What I find hilarious is that you are all having to go back 20 years and pick some marginal sports at best to attempt to prove me wrong.

Seeing how Jesse has had trouble with bodyshots in the past...I don't see him lasting long once Bute goes downstairs.

Bute by livershot KO within 6.

Indeed, fuck Bailey!! However he's still relevant to the question. As for 100m being a marginal sport I wouldn't agree with that. It's probably the most anticipated event at the Olympics and one of the biggest sports stars in the world competes in it so it's hardly a marginal sport!!

    Anyway, back to boxing...

This should be a cakewalk for Lucian Bute.

BUT I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it if Brinkley was to somehow cause an upset. As most of you know I think Bute is one of the most overatted fighters in the sport, I mean it's ridiculous. We all know nothing good has ever come out of Canada, they are a nation bound to mediocrity (sorry CFH and Youngblood, no offence guys, but you know, your country is very bland and unimportant in the scale of things, it's like Belgium or Switzerland but bigger) and they have never had any sporting greats of any note.

Bute will get exposed soon enough (if you don't think Andrade did it already), but I don't think Brinkley will be the man to do it.

If he somehow does though I shall certainly be creating many vitriolic little anti Bute threads

I don't see how Andrade exposed Bute at all....Explain that to me....Why because of what took place in the 12th round of their first fight?....Bute made a maistake he gassed out against a world class opp....Before or since Bu8te has been Flawless....Don't hate Bilbo.......

You have to understand if anyone says a fighter is very good as soon as there is a single flaw or moment of weakness they are immediately overrated. His responses do act as a good wind up and get a lot of responses which is good for the forum.

Ya! That's what I'm talkin' about. Bute is not invincible. If Brinkley trained hard enough (he did) and gets a little lucky, he can go the distance...

Just out of curiosity why did you choose 'the black but' as your username?
