Default Sam Webb / Martin Concepcion - British Light Middle title

    Alright fellas,

Anyone else tuning into this one now? Concepcion is big outsider but he's a heavy hitter and either way I'll be shocked if it goes the distance. Webb took the title in a rubbish fight with Anthony Small, now's the time to show if he actually deserves it. I reckon Webb takes it in the middle rounds, but I'd kind of like to see Concepcion win.

On the undercard Jamie Arthur just took the Commonwealth Super-Bantamweight title beating undefeated Kris Hughes. Another ugly fight, he bullied his way to the win, but deserved in the end. Scores of 114-112, 114-112 & 114-113. Arthur had two points deducted too.

Sam Webb cruised through the first three rounds, boxing well, staying on the outside, and Concepcion being frustrated quite badly. Fourth round having a bit more luck, but still Webb's round. Fairly straightforward stuff for Webb really. Looks like he's planned to avoid Concepcion's power, and doing so fairly successfully so far.

Backed the stoppage in this fight, thought Webb would trade more, great fight compared to the undercard

My housemate has hijacked the telly, so I wasn't able to watch the second half of it. I assume it was a Webb stoppage?

Great perfoprmance from Webb, he really looked a cut above Conception all night.

One of the best displays of being elusive, yet still landing more shots I've seen in ages. Great head and body movement, Webb didn't stop dodging all night.

Good KO as well. Big right to the temple that shook Conception so much there was a slight delay and then he dropped like a sack of shit. Lights out!

Webb certainly looked comfortable at that level and I'm sure European level wont be too much of a step up.

I didn't see the fight but lets be honest here Conception is utter shite and not British title level fighter anymore ( was he ever ? ) But I saw Webb v Small decent enough pro shame Moore is not about anymore I think prime Moore would smash him.

Yeah didn't Conception get sparked out by Yassine El machi not too long ago? Yassine is under rated but still, he absolutely annihilated Conception in a round and a bit with a huge smile on his face the whole time lol
