Default Cain Velasquez vs. Brock Lesnar (Spoilers)

The only way that victory could have been any more comprehensive was if he actually raped Brock as he battered him, absolutely unreal!
It is hard to think of anyone in the UFC beating him at the moment actually.

This is what happens when an "entertainer" meets a real fighter!

i dont know, but i like brock to win. he is good for mma, he draws people to watch ufc. he did came from wwe which is all acting but you gotta give it to brock for switching to mma. true that brock is still green heck he only has what 7 fights? but he will improve and get better.

cain whooped brock's ass. he is definitely worth the belt.

Frank beat him once, Shane beat him up and the fight should have been stopped in the first, Couture should have stayed retired and Herring gave it a good shot. Its ok to still like Brock if you want, my personal opinion is that he is not a true MMA fighter. Dana brought him in and gave him a belt that should not have existed.

why should he? except for the beating he got from cain. the other lost was from a submission that he wasnt able to defend cause of lack of experience. aside from that he was able to beat other guys convincingly.

in mma and except for the well protected fedor its not unusual for a good fighter to have a couple of loses in his career. brock has a lot of things to learn and he better do it fast. and i knew he will lose if not against cain itll be against junior dos santos who is next in line.

Brock has just got by on raw size and strength without much technique. This was also said about him as a wrestler in college, Kurt Angle worked this dude! Finally he was exposed, and yes he was completely exposed. I don't think this is his last loss and I think from this point he will lose more often then he wins if he's matched against the top guys.

Even though I'm not a mma fan I have to admit that was 1 hell of an exciting fight. I can see why an 15 or 16 year old kid watching something like that for his 1st combat sporting event would become a mma fan over boxing.

Regardless of Brock's shortcomings in the technical aspects of mma he brought the fans and excitement something boxing sorely needs for it's own hw division.

I just saw it. Brock is like Wlad was back after the first Sanders fight, he panics when he gets hit.

Just looked panicky the whole time. WTF was that wild backhand jab? Like Naz but Naz managed to look nonchalant when he was doing it.

I thought the same thing. I also think his career might parallel Wlad's in development if he's dedicated. His sheer size is dominating and could adapt like Wlad did and be a force for a very long time.

I don't think he was really hurt either as much as dizzy and lost his bearing from panically moving his head and getting hit when he didn't expect it. I don't think he was dazed at all. Eyes were clear, nothing real hard landed. Clearly not used to getting hit at all. You would think he'd sparred enough to get over that??

He's still going to be hell on a lot of heavies if he can get them down. Sure he got his ass beat but he still got a quick takedown, in that situation he probably keeps most heavyweights down and grinds them out.

But he looked scared shitless when he was standing with Cain pretty much the whole time. Not exactly intimidating. He had that nervous flurry at the beginning but once Cain got out of that clinch and started to try to strike Brock looked panicky.

And then the way he was flailing around after Cain had him up against the fence was weird cause like you I didn't see a whole lot there as far as landed punches. Maybe I just missed something. Now after that, when he got up he got caught with a big knee and then a big right to the back of the head but I couldn't really pinpoint what hurt him initially.

Right. I watched it a couple times and slow mo'd the exchanges and he didn't get hit with anything that looked to be the one that "rocked" him.

I think just like you said it was panic. Cain just stayed on him and hit him at every opening, but they weren't real hard and he never looked stunned.

I agree that he's still dangerous and it was a rookie mistake and to me similar to his first fight with Mir. If he sticks around, he's still in the upper echelon and I could see him getting the belt back.

Fortunately for MMA, it's not the end of the world when someone loses in UFC. They put them right back in the mix.
