Default Who's got better commentators, HBO or Skysports?

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

HBO Free Complete Video Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito

Skysport STOLEN FROM SIKRO OF TELEMIRROR.CO.NR - Veevr

I just finished watching the Skysport version.

In this particular fight, I think they're equally good.

Sky, as long as there isn't a British boxer fighting.

That depends though mate. Jim Watt doesn't think any other British fighter than himself should ever be world champ, so he can be a bit of a cock in the other direction to be honest.

I just find that when there's a British boxer involved in a big fight they (understandably) focus almost exclusively on him, which makes for an unbalanced broadcast. However, I think they do a better job than the HBO team when there are no (or two) British fighters involved. Overall, I think they're better than HBO.

I also like Sky sports better when they do the telecasts, that is if it doesn't involve a British fighter.

But the best broadcasters in my opinion are Japanese and Spanish broadcasters, you don't know what the fuck they are saying, but's it's exciting as hell.

Jim Watt believes any fighter in a spot of bother be "pulled out of there by his corner".

    Every fucking time.

I prefer HBO.... I always enjoy Manny stewarts comments particularly... But I just get more sense of occasion through the HBO commentation...

    Jim Watt:
''He's too negative Ian, he's not doing the things he's supposed to be doing Ian. His defence is terrible. My life is shit, I hate my job Ian. Please let me die''

Sky has been better since John Rawling replaced Adam Smith.

    That, and...

"He can't take many more of them shots" everytime a fairly solid punch lands.

Thought it was great how they mentioned Groves had peaked too early in training, forgetting that he was scheduled to have a fight 2 weeks ago.

Sky should sign up a certain American. They could, literally, have a dream team.

Ian Darke is a legend. Done everthing. Pretty sure he used to do football for Sky back in the day. Darts, boxing too - he's a sports whore.
