Weird night to have this fight could be a good scrap I think Lindsay has bit to much class for Simpson but he is tough as old boots and will make it hard, I heard Tony Jefferies is on the bill possible future opponent for De Gale maybe?

Yeah it's a weird night for boxing. Should be a close match.
Tony needs to get a good win, he's been a bit poor recently.

i think simpson is a good fighter and has been unlucky more than once, including in his last fight where i thought he won it reasonably comfortably
i have a feeling tho tonight isnt gonna go well for him, he is tough and doesnt get stopped but i have a feeling he might tonight

Jeffries is fighting a 37 year old with a 4-3 record who's only fought twice since 2005
He needs a good performance after last time, but Maloney's not doing a good job moving him along. He's a good lad and I hope he does well, but the level of competition needs to improve soon.
Bit of an odd night for the show to be on, but it should be good fight

Jeffries has been exposed already IMO. no way he makes it anywhere near the top. He gets hit way way too easy and has some stamina issues too to go with it.Originally Posted by Cressa121

Lindsay Simpson should be a great fight though. Anyone any ideas why the hell this fight is on a wednesday?

Great fight, Simpson deserved the win, those body shots looked very hurtful and he was landing them almost every time.
